Da notare, il look della principessa Anna, la primogenita della defunta regina Elisabetta: è stata l'unica donna a indossare in via eccezionale i pantaloni
Erano “solo” 2mila gli ospiti che hanno avuto l’onore di presenziare alla cerimonia di incoronazione di re Carlo III e della regina Camilla nell’abbazia di Westminster. Niente a che vedere, in effetti, con gli 8mila che parteciparono all’incoronazione della Regina Elisabetta II settant’anni fa. Tra loro c’erano Capi di Stato e reali da tutto il mondo, ma anche vip e volti noti del mondo della cultura, del sociale e dello spettacolo come Katy Perry. Proprio la popstar (che domani sera si esibirà durante il concerto in onore del sovrano) ha sfoggiato per l’occasione un tailleur viola glicine perfettamente in linea don il dress code richiesto dall’evento. Il completo portava la firma di Vivienne Westwood, la stilista britannica scomparsa lo scorso dicembre: abito al ginocchio con blazer decorato da una maxi spilla, collana a tre fili di perle e l’immancabile (maxi) cappellino, portato sul lato. Decisamente molto floreale e in pieno stile “british”: per lei il nostro voto è 6.

Una lezione di stile è arrivata invece – come sempre – dalla regina Letizia di Spagna, che ha fatto il suo ingresso nell’abbazia al fianco del marito Felipe sfoggiando un raffinatissimo completo con pencil skirt e giacca avvitata con lo scollo impreziosito da ricami artigianali propri della tradizione sartoriale spagnola, in un punto di rosa ciclamino che le donava (voto 9). Ha scelto il rosa, ma nella sfumatura confetto, anche Brigitte Macron, la moglie del presidente francese Emmanuel Macron: per lei tubino al ginocchio e cappottino coordinato dai maxi bottoni tondi ultra chic, con borsetta e cappellino ton sur ton (voto 9). Elegantissimi poi anche re Guglielmo e la regina Maxima dei Paesi Bassi, il re Haakon e la regina Mette Marit di Norvegia, il re Federico e la regina Maria di Danimarca. Non è passata inosservata Charlène di Monaco: la consorte di Alberto II, reduce una lunga convalescenza dovuta a problemi di salute, ha sfoggiato un tailleur bianco burro con giacca dalle maxi spalle e drappeggio sartoriale e bottoni gioiello, non particolarmente valorizzante però (voto 5). Ha fatto di meglio anche la regina Rania di Giordania, da sempre icona di stile: questa volta ha sfoggiato un abito a maniche lunghe, stretto fino al ginocchio in un punto di giallo canarino pallidissimo. Il vestito era drappeggiato da un fiocco sciallato sullo scollo e coordinato con il cappello a veletta (voto 5).
Raffinatissima Olena Zelenska, la moglie del presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelensky: è arrivata accompagnata a sorpresa anche dal primo ministro Denys Shmyhal sfoggiando abito e cappottino di un tenue verde polveroso (voto 8). Ha scelto il suo amato blu Jill Biden, la first lady americana arrivata a Londra insieme alla nipote Maisy in rappresentanza del marito: per lei tailleur blu elettrico, mentre per la nipote un lungo abito-cappa giallo canarino. Da notare il tocco di stile: entrambe hanno sostituito il cappellino previsto dall’etichetta con un cerchietto in tinta decisamente più fashion (voto 7,5). Decisamente istituzionali il granduca e la duchessa di Lussemburgo, la granduchessa di Lussemburgo e la granduchessa di Lussemburgo, re Filippo e la regina Mathilde del Belgio, re Carl Gustaf e la Principessa Vittoria di Svezia e il principe del Giappone con la principessa ereditaria Kiko.
Passando alla Famiglia Reale, decisamente non memorabili i look dei Beatrice ed Eugenia di York, sedute in terza fila accanto al sempre più isolato principe Harry; mentre Kate Middleton è stata come sempre magistrale in questa giornata che è stata per lei una vera e propria prova generale in vista del giorno in cui diventerà regina assieme al marito William. Del suo look vi abbiamo parlato qui e il nostro voto per lei è come sempre un 10. Da notare, dulcis in fundo, il look della principessa Anna, la primogenita della defunta regina Elisabetta: è stata l’unica donna a indossare in via eccezionale i pantaloni in quanto parte integrante dell’uniforme militare che indossava. Con tanto di cappello con il pennacchio e mantello di velluto verde decorato da tutte le mostrine, Anna ha onorato così il servizio che ha reso nell’esercito.
