Madonna thinking of comedy switch

The singer also told Jonathan Ross she was currently single and admitted that bad "timing" prevented her from marrying her lover Warren Beatty. Appearing on Ross’s ITV chat show, she said she wanted to move into what she called "sitdown comedy". She said: "I like the idea of me coming out, sitting on a chair and a table with maybe a drink or two and just talk, talk about my life and say funny things and tell funny stories". Asked about Beatty, who she worked with in the Dick Tracy film shortly after her split from Sean Penn, she said: "That’s a perfect example of timing because he was ready and I wasn’t quite ready because I’d just got divorced.
